Riverbank Cottage is an authentic 150-yearold stone cottage and Riverbank Barn is the original stone barn which has been joined to the cottage by a south facing conservatory.

Both Riverbank Cottage and Riverbank Barn have been designed for the discerning visitor and offer exceptional levels of comfort combined with traditional stone buildings.  Riverbank Cottage and Riverbank Barn can be rented as a complete property or as individual units with a minimum stay of 2 nights.

'Riverbank' - as we call the property - has been described as like a scene out of Postman Pat.  The quaint hump back bridge spans the small river and leads to the Cottage and Barn. Each afternoon at about 3pm postman Christy in the An Post van passes signalling the rush hour.  On busy days 2 or 3 cars may pass down the secluded lane.

The buildings are enclosed by a stone courtyard and in front of the property is a gently sloping meadow (1/2 acre) leading down to the small river.  The hammock stretched between two trees overlooking the river is truly tempting.  The location is superb, peaceful and beautiful.
