ACCOMMODATION
Riverbank Barn
Upstairs:
The Barn is entered via the original stone stairs outside the building. For
people over 5'6" mind your heads as you enter but once inside you've plenty
of headroom as the ceiling extends up into the eaves. This is an open plan
living/dining area. The lounge/dining area has satellite TV, hi-fi & DVD
player. There is a small table and chairs
suitable for two. |
In the same open-plan living area there is a
small kitchenette complete with oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.
A gallery overlooks the downstairs which is reached by a spiral staircase.
(the staircase is steep and therefore the Barn is not recommended for young
children |
Downstairs:
Master bedroom has giant 2 metre wide bed. There is an additional TV in
bedroom. Small portholes
remind you that this was once an original barn for animals but the double jacuzzi in the corner is definitely a new addition. Adjacent to the bedroom
is the bathroom with romantic double shower, washbasin and WC.
A south-facing conservatory links both the
Cottage and the Barn. If Riverbank is taken as a single unit then this can
give access from one property to the other with no need to go outside. At
other times this is a shared facility.
Another attraction of the Barn is the outside deck. Here you can sit and
sip a glass of wine whilst watching the sun go down over the beautiful West
Cork countryside. |
Riverbank Barn can sleep 2 in the master
bedroom. Riverbank Barn is a compact unit so if you prefer
a bit more space you should opt for
the cottage.
